Environmental circulations are chaos and unexpected that exceed a certain time. Explaining the forecast helps to find out which predictions are potentially viable. However, although predicting the weather close to the surface is a very study problem, which shows about 10 days of predictions, but less is known how much the environment can predict on the highest layers.
Bullet [2025] To study the prediction of the environment, a high resolution applies the global model, which provides a new understanding of the couple between the surface of the Meso Spare/Lower thermosphrion (MLT; 50-120 km height), between the environmental level and the basic behavior of the upper environment. The author shows that with about 5 days of forecast horizon, the rapid growth of small -scale waves everywhere can be made less than the low environmental layers. However, environmental flow to MLT can be predicted for up to 3 weeks on a large horizontal scales of a few thousand kilometers.
This research highlights the importance of high resolution, ‘whole environment’ models to understand and predict the circulation in the middle environment and predict the couples from the surface to the edge of the space.
