A new study says ostrich can be bound to the ground, but their ancestors can fly.
How did Shotargur cross the sea? It may feel like a joke, but scientists have long been amazed at how African ostrich, Australian AIIMS and Casoori, New Zealand Kios and the South American Ridge are spread all over the world.
However, a study published on Wednesday could answer the mystery: the oldest ancestors in the family were able to take the wing.
Currently, the only living member of this bird family – called Pelugunat. But even so, shy birds can only fly short distances when they need to avoid danger or to avoid clear obstacles.
Given this incompetence in the air, scientists have struggled to explain how Pelgaginis has become far away.
Some people assumed that the ancestors of the birds were divided when Super Bern Gondwana began the formation of South America, Africa, Australia, India, New Zealand and Antarctica 160 million years ago.
However, genetic research has revealed that “the evolutionary distribution between the Pelvinat species has already occurred after the continent’s separation,”
Wing and a prayer
Woodraig and his colleagues analyzed the samples of the Lithuanathide, which is the oldest Pelgaganath group for which the focus has been discovered. He lived 66-23 million years ago during the period of paleogen.

The Australian Amos Flight Les is a member of the Peliangath family.
Bird Lithuance Permoskos’s focus was first found in the US state of Woming, but he was sitting in a collection of the Smithsin Museum.
“Since birds’ bones are fragile, they often crush during the process of gossip, but it was not so,” he said.
“For this study, it maintained its original shape,” added. It allowed researchers to scan the animal’s breast bone, where the muscles that were able to fly were attached.
He vowed that Lithuance Permoskos was capable of flying – either by continuously beating his wings or changing between gliding.
But this discovery points to another question: Why did these birds abandon the power of flight?
To be taken to the ground
“The birds evolve the birds to meet two important conditions: they will have to be able to get all their food on the ground, and there can be no hunter to threaten them.”

The terrifying Australian Kasuri, which can’t fly, but sometimes it is called the “most dangerous bird in the world”.
Other research recently also revealed that Lithuananthadis had a bone organ at the tip of his lime, which caused him to perform well for pests.
But what will happen to the second condition – lack of hunters?
Vadreig suspects that after 65 million years ago near Denosaur, the ancestors of Pelogagh had begun to develop towards the flight.
“After all the big hunters left, the birds of the ground were free to free, which would save them a lot of energy,” he said.
Small fighters who survived the incident that wiped out dinosaurs – thought that a huge temptation was.
He said that it would make birds a “high -speed runner” such as emo, ostrich and Ria or “even” Kasouri, like Kasouri. “
