A. Sutherland – ancient pages dot com- Holger Dancay, also known as the Holger or Aigar Dean, was a terrible Viking Warrior. He was a Denmark’s legendary night and a national hero.
His entire life has been submerged in mystery, from birth to death. According to ancient legends, it is said that Holger Dancade never died. Instead, he sleeps in Shakespeare’s Hamlet in the dark basement of the Crownburg Castle in Elsinor.
The history of Holger Dancay is difficult to detect because it is almost nothing but nothing. The information we have is based on legends and myths.
The first mention of the gold hero Holger Dancay comes from the epic poem, Channel de Roland (Roland’s songs), in 778. This is the oldest survivor of French literature and is present in the version of different prescriptions, which confirms its tremendous and sustainable popularity in the 12th to 14th century.
Holger is a prophecy related to the birth of Dancay. His destiny was that he was to be one of the most fearless fighters, never to be conquered.
