When did the cats be raised? According to a 2014 study led by Wim Van Nair of the Royal Belgium Institute of Natural Sciences, cats were raised more than home in ancient Egypt than before.
Cats are traditionally believed to have been raised in Egypt during the East (1950 BC). During the prediction period, the upper Egyptian capital, Herokunpolis, was excavated, evidenced that the cats were initially confronted when the fourth thousand -year -old BCE’s jungle cat skeleton was discovered in an elite pro -Circle. In 3700 BC, signs of fractures of healed legs were shown, which shows that the animal was kept in prison before his sacrifice and was taken care of for several weeks. In another burial, the skeleton of six cats – two adults and four kitten, Maye, exposed the contemporary burial of Bobon and dog skeletons. Using comparative studies of skeleton of wild and domestic cats, researchers suggested that the buried six cats together was domestic.
Although Van Nair and his colleagues have warned that the results from Herconpolis are temporary until more comparative studies are conducted, researchers believe that it is clear that there is more than a thousand years before thinking between cats and humans in Egypt.
