Astronomers have discovered the early seeds of rocky planets that are built in gas around a baby’s sun, which looks like a valuable peek in the dawn of our own solar system.
Scientists said on Wednesday that when new worlds began in prison, this is an unprecedented snapshot of “Time Zero”.
“We have received a direct glimpse of the hot region where rocky planets like Earth are born around young proteostars,” said the Melissa McC culture from the Netherlands, led by the International Research Team. “For the first time, we can conclude that the first steps to form the planet are still taking place.”
