A restoration part of the lid of the spouse’s famous Atroskin Sarkovs has been returned to his display case at the National Atroskin Museum of Villa Jewelia in Section Home. This section includes the bride’s bare feet, the bride’s foot shoes and the bottom of their widely manufactured clothing. This is the first glimpse of how the whole piece will be seen when the recovery is completed. Unlike half -section of the sarcofgus, there is a revelation.
The restored section has been clearly distinguished from parts that have not yet been restored due to the new surface color, which came after cleaning, which removed the old protective layers and dirt deposits collected over time. In fact, the rehabilitation revealed the original level with the symbols of workmanship and the remnants of Angob, which has preserved its patent and brightness.
Sarkovs, built around 520 BC, was found in pieces and clamps together at the end of the 19th century. After this initial work, the only second major protection treatment was 50 years ago. The varnishes are dark and the bitter clamps of iron have endangered the integrity of Tarakota. The new rehabilitation project will be much more comprehensive. The complete plaster of caste will be made of each section. This laser will be scanned to create a detailed 3D model and the carbon fiber changed old, damaged metal clamps.
Work began in May, starting with the feet and feet. It was so strong that the cotton shrubs, water and light solvents, soft and non -invasive, but so strong that the gray varnish could be removed to show the hot orange of the original kerosene. The restoration workshop is opening to the public twice a week, showing visitors how the protection sausage is made.
The section of the basin of the sarcofgus, which was under the legs and feet, has been removed in the restoration laboratory, so the restored legs and feet were applied to temporary support.
