Crystal quantum interactions of time are born once thought to stop their formation

There are many locks of nature: the seasons result from the movement of the earth around the sun, resulting in a pendant clock tucking its pendant. These phenomena can be understood with a very simple equation. However, through the complex interactions of many particles, regular rhythm can also arise in a very different way. Instead of a uniform disorder, a fixed rhythm emerges – it is called “time crystal”.

The Calculation of the Toan (Vienna) now shows that such time crystals can also be manufactured in a completely different way. Quantum physical intercourse between particles, which was previously considered harmful to the appearance of such phenomena, can in fact strengthen the crystal of time. This is a wonderful new insight into quantum physics of several particle systems.

When the liquid goes to the gym, the particles change their local layout: in the liquid, they move brutally and collectively, without any structure. When the liquid is frozen, a crystal shapes in which individual particles occur in a very regular manner at very specific locations. A liquid appears everywhere, it has the same features everywhere and in every direction, it is fully compatible. However, in a crystal, this balance breaks: suddenly there is a regular structure, there is a direction that varies from the other direction.

Can such a balance break up with the same time? Is it possible that a quantum system is initially defused over time, that every point of time is the same as everyone else, but still a temporary order emerges?

Professor Thomas Pohl’s team has been researching his doctorate thesis, “This question has been a subject of deep research in quantum physics for ten years.” In fact, it has been shown that the so-called time crystal is possible-the system in which a temporary rhythm is established without beating outside.

“However, it was thought that it was possible only in very specific systems, such as quantum gases, whose physics can be well described by quality values ​​well without random fluctuations that are inevitable in quantum physics.” “Now we have shown that it is a quantum physical connection between the particles, which was thought to prevent the formation of the crystal of the previous time, which could lead to the appearance of the time crystal stages.”

The complex quantum interaction between particles attracts collective behavior, which cannot be explained at the level of individual particles. This is how smoke from a candle can sometimes form a regular series of smoke. A trend whose rhythm is not determined from the outside and cannot be understood by the same particles of smoking.
