Eco View Power, a coastal energy technology company, is celebrating the successful launch of its first US View Energy Project at the port of Los Angeles, developed in partnership with Altasia and Shell Marine Renewable Energy (MRE).

The project indicates the first wave of coastal energy installation in the United States, which shows the technology of Eco View Power. The company’s patented ouncewave energy system connects flutters to the existing marine structure-the top and bottom of the ladders operate to hydraulic cylinders, which sends pressure fluid to the power generating ground-based energy conversion unit.

The Los Angeles Project is designed as a demonstration station, which has the following objectives:

  • Eco View Power’s patented on noise technology show in US marine conditions
  • Support environmental surveillance and regulatory processes in collaboration with local stakeholders and officials, including the US Army Corps of Engineers.
  • Serve as an educational center for industry partners, regulators and potential consumers
  • Establish a foundation for trading wave energy projects associated with future grid in the United States

Although still in the “demonstration mode”, the site features flooders, which capture the movement of waves to generate renewable electricity. Eco View Power also argues that the project has come on a “important” time for California, because the state’s proposed Senate Bill 605 has demanded a comprehensive wave energy road map.

“The California has been a leader for the climate policy policy, and we are proud to see the wave energy in the Senate Bill 605, demanding a full roadmap for wave energy in California,” said Anna Brewerman, founder and CEO of Eco View Power. “At the federal level, we appreciate the leadership of the Congress’s female Bergen for introducing the Marine Energy Technologies Acceleration Act, which is a $ 1 billion move to measure maritime energy across the country. This project suggests that with the right policy, we can turn into innovation and we are just beginning to reality.”

Brewerman, an incredible success story survived the story and vision for View Energy, was profile through it Factor this Earlier this year, the company’s position is that its technology is designed for modular, low maintenance and “minimal environmental impact.” The US Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory estimates that the wave of energy is capable of producing more than 1,400 terrace every year.

Eco View Power’s 404.7 MW Global Project Pipeline includes its grid station in Israel, as well as future operational sites in Taiwan, India and Portugal.
