It can be very well Jesus’ childhood home. It does not appear to be invited, but the house of this rock was the house of Jesus in Nazareth. The recent excavation of the Ken Dark and the Nazareth Archaeological Plan has revealed good evidence to suggest that Jesus was raised from there. Photo: Ken Dark.

The excavation located below the convent has been known since 1880, but has not been professionally excavated until the Naser archaeological project began its work in 2006. “Have Jesus’ unlucky house?” In the issue of March/April 2015 RepetitiveKen Dark, director of the Nazareth Archaeological Project, not only describes the remnants of the house, but also detects the evidence that shows that this is the place where Jesus spent his early years – or at least the place is considered to be in the home of Jesus’ childhood.

The excavation revealed the first century “courtyard” that was partially from the rock found and partially built from the rock walls. Many original features of the house still remain, including doors and windows. There were also found in this place, a reservoir and later, a Byzantine Church.

Ken Dark has also discussed the relationship between Jesus, Nasrat’s childhood home and the main location of Sifurus. It has been thought that Saifuris may have provided Joseph to work and Jesus many important cultural experiences. However, Ken Dark believes that Nazareth was a larger city than traditionally understood, and was especially Jewish in its identity-which is against the Roman-infected syphore. It is partially based on the results of its Nahl Zipuri region survey that separates syphilis and nausea geographically.
