*I had earlier prepared this piece in February 2023 but I am just wandering to eliminate it, as the completion of my recent conversation on ‘Pyramid Methbsting’.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjoitx8inry
Three phenomena I have been able to observe in twenty strange years that I am working in this field:
1) Giza and the pyramid, especially the great pyramid and how it was built, may attract more attention and more ideology than any other aspect of Egypt. This is not surprising: The Great Pyramid is one of the most famous achievements in the ancient world, it is clearly a wonderful achievement, it is very old and we still do not fully understand how it was built.
2) This last thing naturally encourages people that people try to solve mystery by applying their ideas and skills that often highlight the skills beyond engineering or geometry. This is also amazing, but with a lot of interest, I have often found that people with these thoughts do not want to tell you what they are on the phone (which I worked in EES when I had to pick up) or email. Their views are secret and can be personally given through only one meeting. They assume that Egyptian experts spend our lives just to scratch our heads, and intensely try to find out how the Egyptians raised such a wide and special monument when most of us are more likely to be absorbed in our particular research interests (then it is only a matter of time and an invasion of Egypt, but it is only a matter of time)? What time do I need to buy that book or find me in BL?). They believe that we will be anxious to know that when they, regrettably, new and secret-when the pyramids were built, they are ten penis and are generally not more convincing more than any other ideas, they often include skills in which I do not have any skills, and they have no evidence for any reason.
I was happy to see similar views posted on X/Twitter by Dr. Darren Nash, which works in another field that attracts many seedo science and alternative ideas.
“I should also include that everyone involved in technical research is immersed in their own work, more work and less salary, and mostly are unable to spend time on their own research programs and unable to spend time on things …”
See here to read the original post on X/Twitter.
Unfortunately, when I am unable to engage with these ideas, it probably encourages the third of these demonstrations:
) The idea that Egyptian experts are involved in a conspiracy, that we somehow know that traditional wisdom about the history and nature of the great pyramid is wrong but we do not want to allow the truth to come out because… we stand to lose our reputation / reputation / painful jobs.
I moved it to write it to write about some of the pictures I posted in a part of Giza that I didn’t go before – the Central Musta Field – which focused a lot of attention from people with ‘alternative’ ideas about these things. I suffered frustration about one or two of these comments (‘Why do you say that this is a tomb when there is no evidence of it, you are wrong. I felt that it would take some time to do so but I could create a useful base and, I hoped, and I was on the basis of’ interesting piece, ‘.
Calling such monuments in the Central Mustaba Field ‘Tambus’ has attracted some disappointing comments at this time! The chain of photos I posted begins here.
I think it is a wider significance because of the generally neglect of ‘fake news’ and in favor of ‘alternative ideas’, as the results derived by experts based on accumulated experimental evidence, years of study, practical experience, etc. are not better or more accurate than anyone else.
Egypt has a very long commitment to alternative ideas and I freely admit that some of them helped encourage my own interest in ancient Egypt. But traditional chorus is a serious scientific attempt, headed by experimental evidence. There are many differences in this evidence – this is the nature of the study of people and civilizations that are removed from our own time – but whatever results we draw about the ancient past are proof of this.
Experts are a Nice Talk …
Egyptian experts are experts. Part of being an Egyptian is a part of the expertise in knowing things. Ask me to name the kings of the 18th family and I will train them one by one. There are so many things I don’t know from the upper part of my head, but I know what the answers are there because I know literature or at least how do I find it. (See my recent guide for pyramids online and other reading resources, here). Where were the buildings of Amin Hotp II in Karnak? I am not sure, but I know going to ‘Porter and Mass’ Volume. Find the royal names for the right king for the right pages in the Karkan section, and in the Karkan section.
I don’t mind asking my skills… but I want anyone to read my books, listening to TV or lecturing, or read captions to Egypt’s photos, though I am not incomprehensible and I can make a strange mistake (ninth pilon, and I have something about it, and I write about something about it, and I write about it.) Talking about your rules.
Since the 90s, there has been a disturbing trend, especially in scientific television documentary films, not only to pursue such alternative ideas but also to make new evidences or new ideas to make baseless claims about ‘Egyptian experts’ or ‘archaeologists’. According to this story, Egyptian experts / archaeologists will always reject the new, interesting discrepancy ideas suggested by the presentation because they do not want to come to the truth (as above) because… we stand to lose our reputation / reputation / painful jobs, but it is not evidence that it is not believed, but we do not think it is not evident. The truth to come out! ‘
Egyptians can perform better
After saying all this, I think Egypt has some responsibility to get the traction of alternative ideas, as I explained on X/Twitter a while ago:
X/Twitter User: No one knows that although they were tomb, I believe it is just as if they were built.
Egyptians are in the beautiful stream and finding any evidence against history books can end one’s life work.
I: Hi, Egyptianologist here. Enjoyed seeing all the alternative ideas of Dara [see here] For TV but can confirm that there is a lot of evidence. Human remnants.
This is not the work of my life, but it is the work of hundreds of experts who have been evaluated from the last century or more than anywhere else, somewhere else in Giza, Sakara, Dahshwar, Abu Ravish, Lasht, Medium, Harah, Lahon and many other cemeteries.
It has a vast body of information and literature, and a large part of being an Egyptian is about to know it to some extent, but it is also to know how the evidence can be accessed. With regard to more literature, this is an excellent point: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0500051895/ref=cm_sw_r_as_api_gl_gl_ipi_ipi_ipi_ipi_ipi_ipi_ipi_gm14k1q629q629q629QM6629QM6629QM6629QM662 9QM6629QM6629QM6629QM666666666629QM629QM6666666629QM629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q6 29Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q629Q69Q69Q614K1
Thanks btw @haneolo21, your tweet shows that when we do not do a good job to show Egyptian experts, what can be wrong * why we think what we do in this matter, ie, the pyramid = the tomb is the best interpretation of the evidence available so far!
(Click here to view this exchange on X/Twitter)
I actually intended to solve this post, as I said on X, showed that * why * we think what we do. Now it has gone beyond my conversation, but it also means that if it means to repeat myself a bit of my main points – alternate ideas, developed as ‘myths’ – to which to cut – the following were:
Meth 1: Giza’s pyramids are very large that Egyptian experts believe (Fourth Family, C. 2550 – 2400 BC)
Card
Earlier history arguments, including ‘Orion connection’ and ‘spinach weathering’, can be ignored, as it can be thought that it is suspected that there is not much related to the khufu that exists within the big pyramids – later on the kings’ elite, which was not commonly used on the tomb of the kings. They did not practice, who usually did not follow it. In other pyramids, keeping the name of other kings, keeping in mind the discovery of similar Shalalh.
In fact, there is no evidence of pre -activity related to pyramids and spinachs, while in support of the traditional theory, there is a lot of evidence to connect the construction of three pyramids of Giza to the era of Dhau, Kafira and Menkora.
From my conversation, the slide slide, which contains the name of the government’s Qur’an and the name of the Great Pyramid, is ‘Dhau’s Horizon’, written with a symbol of a pyramid.
Catch 2:
The construction of pyramids is so incredible that it can now be achieved with lost technology from us now.
Card
Although what the Egyptians of the fourth family have achieved is almost incredible, we have evidence of almost every stage of this process – digging and cutting stones, carrying it and taking it into position. There are still gaps, but the need for anything is not enough.
The scene from the tomb of Jijithatap in Albasha in which a great statue has been placed. Through the Wikimedia Commons.
Mutk 3: The pyramids were not tomb.
No, they were.
In their design, location, buildings, contents, and decorations (which were written) are in accordance with Egyptian tombs. They Is It is found that human remains contain, not on the mummies, but the proportion of the tombs remains to remain.
The tomb of the Aminent (TT -277, Luxor), which shows two dead people in the coffins directly, attended by the mourners, in front of the entrance of the tomb that is ahead of a pyramid.
Mutk 4: Egyptian experts know ‘truth’ but do not want it to go out because… will this ruin their reputation / life work? Something else?
It seems that some people with alternative ideas have the belief that Egyptian experts are hiding something. On the contrary, the theory of consensus – when, how and how and how, Giza monuments – is not just a series of uncertain claims and assumptions, but instead, the widespread of the evidence has been built, of which large quantities are available freely for studying my guinea (seeing it). Any alternative interpretations Must indicate how different interpretation of this evidence can be made, and cannot ignore it. It is clear to me that at least some of them have alternative ideas, such as the pyramids, they have not taken care of all the available evidence.
