A new dinosaur from the fossils found on the Oil of White in England, with the back and tail, has been identified.

The new Aygvanodontin dinosaur was identified by Jeremy Lockwood as a retired GP as part of his PhD. Study at Portsmouth University and Natural History Museum, London. He cautiously reviewed the dinosaur bones held at the Dinosaur Oil Museum, Oil of White.

So far, the gynecological material, which is about 125 125 million years old, was convinced that one of the two famous Aygvanoids Dinosaur species belonging to the Oil of White. But Lockwood saw something extraordinary.

Lockwood said, “Although the skeleton was not as complete as some other people were found, no one had really taken a deep look at these bones before.” “It was thought that this was just another model of the current species, but it had a particularly long nerve spinal cord, which was very unusual.”

Upon examining closely, Lockwood realized that the animal would probably have a clear journey along its back, which would help separate from other dinosaurs found on the island. The results are described in a new article published in the journal papers in paleaontology.

Lockwood has named the new dinosaur Istirachis Mac Arthur in the name of a famous Oil of White resident. The name of Istiorachis means “Cell Spine”, while MacArthur Dam Alan McArthur honors, who set a world record for fast -paced solo -stop travel worldwide on his first effort in 2005 and comes from the Oil of White.

Lockwood explained, “Evolution is sometimes in practice in favor of extravagance. While the correct purpose of such characteristics is being discussed for a long time. With the theories from body heat to storage of fat – researchers believe that the most likely sexual explanation is the cause of sexual explanation.

The fossil -based team included a professor of Natural History Museum, Susana Mode, who commented, “Careful studies about Jeremy’s fossils, which have been in the museum storage for many years. The important thing is, Istiorachis highlights a wider evolutionary phenomenon. Research shows that before the initial Critis becomes a relatively common feature, the length of the nerve spinal cord in the eagoanodonts began in the late jarask. However, the real hyper length, where the spinal cord is four times higher than the body height, remains rare.
