How is the US auto market doing? Let’s take a look at the market as a whole in the second quarter as well as the trends of individual companies.

Overall, US auto sales increased by 3 % in Q2 2025 compared to Q2 2024, and Q2 2025 also increased by 3 % compared to 2023. It is very different from the first two years of the first two years (10 %) and 2022 (17 %) after 2021. Naturally, the markets were made healthy for a while, especially with the attack on Ukraine in Russia, as well as with the challenges of the supply chain in the auto industry.

The leading auto brands in the country were Ford and Toyota in Q2 2025, followed by Chevrolet, Honda and Hyundai.

Another example of Tesla’s fall, the All -Electric American brand Q2 fell from 9th in 2024 to 11th in Q2 2025. Not very good Can the EV Company go back to Top 10? We will see….

The other all -electric brands were Raven and Loside, 31st and 33rd, respectively. Revenue was below the 29th a year ago, while Lucid repeated his ranking at 33rd. Yes, I know – is it worth talking about their rating at this location? Well, you have to start from somewhere.

The bad news for EV brands here is that Tesla sales decreased by 13 %, or 20,729 units in Q2, and at the same time revenue sales decreased by 23 %, or 3,129 units. On the positive side, cheerful sales were 10 %, or 241 units.

Comparing Q2 2023, we can once again see that the country’s largest auto brands (Ford, Toyota, Chevrolet, Honda, and Hyundi) saw solid growth in Q2. On the basis of percent, Fatet has increased the most, but Fatet barely sells any car in the United States. (He said, they are all electric.) Lucid was second to increase percentage, but, once again, it rarely sells any vehicle. Again, we see a larger reduction in Tesla (-18 %, or -31,727 units) and Raven (-16 %, or -1,979 units). Just like that, though, as a note, the sales of electric vehicles had increased overall – a point we will return to a separate article.

Returning to Q2 2022, we eventually see the growth from Raven (+139 %, or +6,194 units) and Tesla (+10 %, or +13,488 units).

And, we can see this section, we can see that Tesla’s sales increased by 88 % from Q2 2021 to Q2 2025, which is higher than any auto brand other than lexus. On the basis of volume, only Ford increased more. Therefore, this is still a wonderful improvement for the country’s leading EV seller in four years. More widely, it has clearly been a good amount of development for Ford and Lexus.

The last chart I post here has been watching all these brands in all these years. The following are both a static chart and an interactive chart (both are viewed on the real computer, not a phone). This is a huge chart, and you can spend a lot of time watching the trends of brands from Q2 2021 to Q2 2025. Enjoy!
