What is the Pacific ring?

Ring of Fire is a huge belt of active and passive volcano that is mostly all around The Pacific. It goes from southern Chile, from the west coast of the United States, far from Alaska to the islands and the Philippines below Japan. Some geologists also include Indonesian chain of volcanoes in color.

These volcanoes arise because of this Subcodiation – The movement of the tectonic plate under the neighboring plate – which reduces the melting location of the rock in the mantle. The rock turns towards the magma, rises to the surface, and erupts like a volcano.
